One of my favourite things about this season is asking people questions about Christmas traditions. I love how we all treasure different aspects of the holiday season and we each put our stamp on it.
Today H.S. Stone is stopping by my blog to answer three Christmassy questions.
Enjoy!
1. If you could be in a Christmas movie, which would it be and who would you be?
I would want to be one of the kids aboard the train in The Polar Express. The scene where the waiters serve hot chocolate is my favorite from the movie, and whenever I watch it, I get serious cravings. I would love to be one of the kids who actually gets to drink it! Seeing Santa Claus at the North Pole would be pretty awesome too. :-)
2. Finish this sentence: It's not Christmas without...
Seeing the joy on my kids' faces when they open their presents! As they get older, it's getting harder and harder to impress them, but that's a challenge I'm willing to take on.
3. What's your favorite holiday tradition or food? Why?
My favorite holiday tradition IS the food. Every year, I look forward to the month-long food-fest from Thanksgiving to the New Year. I have a sweet tooth, so my favorite foods are the desserts, especially anything with chocolate in it: chocolate cake, chocolate chip cookies, chocolate/fudge brownies, or just plain old chocolate. I'm getting hungry right now just listing them!

H.S. Stone Bio
Even before he could read, H.S. Stone wanted to write a book. Fascinated by the stories that seemed to leap from his kindergarten teacher's books, he went home and wrote his own book, with illustrations and bound by staples. Of course, since he didn't know how to read or write yet, the book was full of gibberish.
Undaunted, H.S. eventually mastered the ABC's and continued to write throughout his grade school years, adolescence, and into adulthood. Despite earning a degree and working in a field not related to writing, he continued to pursue his writing passion.
H.S. Stone's publications include novels aimed at Young Adult and Middle Grade readers as well as several short stories. He currently lives with his family in the San Francisco Bay Area.
